Irish Chaperone was well backed for his debut over 1m6f here and only just failed to catch Julia Too. He stayed on well in the closing stages so today's extra distance should suit and he looks sure to figure. However, DREAMERS OF DREAMS also shaped with plenty of promise when third on his debut behind Hildisvini at Warwick. The form is working out well with the winner having gone in again and Malcolm Jefferson's gelding gets the vote. Vintage Star disappointed here last time but had gone close on his debut, while Ardkilly Gunner and Boruler are both worth noting in the betting.
