In depth

Verdict

Harome has to overcome a 7lb penalty incurred for winning at Hamilton early this month. That should hand the advantage to ALICANTE DAWN, who took a while to find his stride at Musselburgh on his recent debut but finished strongly for third beaten less than a length. Traveltalk improved to finish fourth at Catterick last time and Best Away finished third of six at the same track on his introduction. Silk Mill Blue is a half-brother to three winners and preferred to Nifty Niece of the newcomers.
