In depth

Verdict

Surely STAND CLEAR is going to score sooner or later and he's been afforded another decent opportunity here with his young pilot's claim putting him on a competitive mark. This could just be his day as he has the form in the book to handle this field. Is It Me hasn't visited the winner's circle since 2009 but ran really well at Southwell last time when inched out by Spate River at Southwell. He will be involved if in the same form but it has to be accepted that he's not the most consistent sort around. Reland and Keeverfield were second and third over C&D in early June behind Oh Right and there's very little between them on the book here. Both warrant shortlist inclusion in a trappy contest.
