Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Trafalgar Man, Stagecoach Amber and Scutch Mill look the three to concentrate on in a trappy opener with the narrow vote going to the last named. The selection hails from the in-form Patrick Haslam yard and was a fair fifth in a better race behind Delta Lady last time out. This looks easier and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Trafalgar Man rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Programe Girl, form that has since been franked and he will not be far away but all his best form is on a softer surface. Stagecoach Amber is another worthy of respect as he has shown a modicum of ability in bumpers and he could improve for the switch to hurdles but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Easibet Dot Net has place claims but has looked a short runner in the past and with this in mind for the winner we return to Scutch Mill to small stakes.
