In depth

Verdict

Lucy Alexander has been on board for four of the five success achieved by STANLEY BRIDGE. However, she's not had the leg-up on the last five starts but is reunited with the Murtagh charge now. She'll need to hang on to the hold-up performer as long as possible but she knows that only too well and the pair can make a winning return off an acceptable mark. Claude Carter appears to be right out of form at present so is best watched whilst Pret A Thou should deliver his usual honest account. However, the prime threat appears to be Flying Phoenix off joint top weight. She has assembled a decent hurdling profile, was not disgraced in Listed company at Cheltenham on her penultimate start and was a respectable Worcester third when last seen. As a five-year-old, she retains room for further progress too.
