Trew Style gets the nod over Desert Storm here, while Onyergo and Xacobeo are open to improvement and can figure strongly in a race that lacks strength in depth. Xacobeo was given a quiet introduction in an ordinary looking maiden at Newbury last month. The son of Monjeu only really got going near the finish and shaped as if the step up to a mile and a half would not be a problem for him. Onyergo has the beating of Scott's Mill after their meeting at Musselburgh last month. However, he still has three lengths to find with Desert Storm and, as his record would suggest, he looks to hold place claims at best. Desert Storm, in turn, is another that has been hard to win with and is not one to be going overboard about. Especially if Trew Style hits the gates running today. His rider, Saleem Golam, is really fired up at the moment and, this may be an ideal time to take advantage of his soon to be relinquished 3lb claim.
