Verdict

Brian Smart does well with his sprinters and runs Reet Thicknstrong, who showed tremendous speed last time before fading late on at Carlisle. This sharp, fast track should play far more to her strengths. Noble Reach didn't do too badly last time behind Hello Beautiful at Ripon and is making gradual progress but there a number of newcomers here who take the eye. Richard Fahey runs the Dandy Man filly Birkacre while Flair For Fashion represents connections whose runners are usually the subject of considerable support if expected to go well. However, David Brown's Rock Of Gibraltar filly ROCK N ROUGE makes plenty of appeal on paper and is taken to make a winning debut.
