After a promising debut ORCHID STREET was thrown into listed company and she should be the one to beat back in a maiden with Kheya and Stunning In Purple the main dangers. The form from the pick's opening gambit looks rock solid as she beat home a couple of subsequent winners. She wasn't beaten that far in the listed Hilary Needler Trophy at Beverley last time and that form easily sets the standard here. Kheya stepped up markedly on her debut run to find just one the better on her last go. She was only just denied and there should be more to come. Stunning In Purple has held her form in four starts and should be in the mix from a yard in form while Miss Clairton was promising on debut and has a likeable pedigree so should improve to get involved. An interesting maiden where Orchid Street should take all the beating.
