In depth

Verdict

Vale of Belvoir ran with credit when second of three in a Leicester maiden on his debut but it is hard to evaluate that form and a safer bet looks to be The Italian Job, who is preferred Reem Al Fallah. The selection stepped up on his debut effort when chasing home Diamond Hurricane over course and distance last time and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice. Ishibee has shown a similar level of form in two starts so far and is entitled to be thereabouts again, while Hucking Hope is entitled to improve on his debut effort but may want a softer surface. Mick Channon's Reem Al Fallah has a decent pedigree and could be of interest but The Italian Job has solid claims on form and he gets the vote.
