In depth

Verdict

Pavershooz can land this after a snug victory last time. Noel Wilson's charge was bounced out in front and did not see another rival in that Ayr contest, although the second has left the form down since. Although his win was achieved on ground described as good to firm, connections did state that rain beforehand was a factor in his victory so that slight ease in the ground may not overly inconvenience him. Ursus bids for the hat-trick here but this appears tougher against rivals that are open to improvement. Gainshare has dropped in the ratings and as a consequence put in an improved showing last time. The third and fourth from that event, have both run solid race since which gives the form some extra substance. Second Opinion should be suited by this step up to six furlongs given his style of racing over the minimum trip but Pavershooz is the selection.
