Verdict

Coconut Queen is selected here ahead of Harry The Hawk and Medici Pearl. Coconut Queen has never run badly here and, even though she is on a career-high mark, she keeps knocking at a door that will one day open and reward her for her consistency. Harry The Hawk ran well to finish third to Smugglers Bay last time on his seasonal return. The form was franked by the winner's good run at Beverley on Saturday and Harry The Hawk could be interesting today. Musical Beat is consistent and holds place claims, while Medici Pearl put in a good run at Chester last time on soft going and, lightly-raced could be open to further improvement. Bold Indian was not far behind her on the Roodeye. Finally, Toms Laughter earned some winning brackets at Chepstow, but he is a bit quirky and was given a peach of a rider by Cathy Gannon to do so on that occasion. He might go well but, for the selection, we will stick with Coconut Queen.
