Verdict

Last year's winner Comino can race off a lower mark this time round but is hard to catch right while Red Tycoon and Gold Club are unproven over this longer trip. Ralphy Boy won over 7f at Musselburgh in August but would prefer a faster surface so the vote goes to BEST TRIP. It was soft ground when Marjorie Fife's charge won over course and distance back in May and he's been competing over shorter distances since. Orion's Bow faces a tougher task than when scoring at Hamilton last time while Birkdale Boy has to win Turf but Terhaal should be capable of better with last month's belated seasonal debut at Musselburgh under his belt.
