Verdict

Mrs Eff completed a treble in the spring, going up 23lb in the process. She couldn't quite manage a four-timer from her new mark at Cartmel in May and has been handed another 2lb rise. GULF PUNCH hadn't won for two years before an impressive victory at Cartmel and an 8lb rise may not be enough to prevent a quick double. I'Ll Be Frank isn't the most consistent of performers but showed he can be a force to reckon with at Hexham in October and has to be respected. Stuart Crawford has booked A P McCoy for Merrydown Vintage though his mount will need to show major improvement to get involved but Pudsey House is just 3lb higher than when scoring at Kelso in April.
