Verdict

As usual, the old horse chestnut about watching the market is served up but in the absence of that information, Dotty's Brother is a speculative pick at the expense of Exceedingly Good and Aldermoor. Anne Duffield has two in this contest and it could be worth sticking with the son of Forzando in the opener. He has shown a degree of early pace in the past and with a number of the more fancied runners having high draws, he can glean first use of the rail. Exceedingly Good hails from the resurgent team of Bryan Smart. The filly was well backed ahead of her last engagement at Doncaster and it will be interesting to see whether those same punters row in again. Aldermoor is very nicely bred and is one to note with the future in mind. Sold for 95000 guineas at the Doncaster Sales in April he could be anything. Go Go Green has shaped encouragingly on two starts thus far. Come And Go represent the stable that won this event last term and is one to note in the market. Proclaim is a half-brother to six furlong winner, Dhaular Dhar. Star Of Sophia's near relations include Mixterthetrixter so don't be surprised to see plenty of precociousness. Starry Sky looked badly in need of her first experience at Kempton and will be running on when others have cried enough. Agent Stone looks best of the rest. Dotty's Brother is the pick.
