Tricky Madam has shown enough on both starts to suggest a weak seller such as this can come her way sooner or later and this contest is certainly within her compass. This may well be her day but CHANT, who is held by the selection on Redcar running when both made their debuts, has since shown improved form when third of 12 in a better race at Wolverhampton, albeit beaten 8l by the winner. That was a perfectly sound effort in the context of this race and the Oratorio gelding receives narrow preference. The others to have run have shown little but David Barron's Rail Link newcomer, Juana Belen, demands a market check.
