Elite Land is versatile with regards conditions and races off the same mark as when placed in a slightly better race at Haydock last May, but recent efforts have been less inspiring and LADY BLUESKY is preferred. Champion Jockey-elect Paul Hanagan takes the ride about our selection who arrives on the back of a comfortable course and distance win under similar conditions. A 4lb rise is far from harsh, she's still unexposed, and it's encouraging that in one other visit to the track the mare took second to the decent Roses in a bumper. Drop The Hammer cantered to victory here two starts back and would be of clear interest despite this 8lb higher mark were it not for a subsequent heavy defeat at Redcar, but as things stand Danceintothelight is considered the biggest threat providing he consents to settle this time and suffers no ill-effects from a fall over timber when last seen.
