Verdict

AP McCoy has just one booked ride, JP McManus' Aland Islands, whom he rode to victory in an Exeter bumper last April. Tim Vaughan's charge made a winning start over timber at Hexham in November and there's plenty more to come. However, he faces a very strong rival here in STAR IN FLIGHT, an impressive winner here in December before stumbling and unseating when going clear on a return visit last month. He looks destined for better things and gets the vote. Edmund has shown some potential in bumpers and made a fair start over hurdles at Musselburgh while the newcomer Raktiman may do best of the remainder.
