      Verdict

      Toffee Galore was placed over 7f at Carlisle on her debut and is preferred to Albanita with the latter likely to do better when tackling longer trips in the future. Astromerry showed little on her debut though still makes more appeal than her stablemate and newcomer Astrosparkle but another newcomer in SAPA INCA gets the vote. Mark Johnston’s filly is a 200,000gns sister to Group 1 winner Johannes Vermeer and the Group 2 winner Elizabeth Browning and may well prove good enough at the first time of asking.
