Verdict

APPEARED landed the odds at Wolverhampton on his return to action and the runner-up has since landed a double. That looks stronger form than Burcan's winning debut at Kempton and Roger Varian's colt gets the nod. Charlies Mate is more exposed but has been thereabouts off higher marks since scoring at Lingfield in January while The Third Man ran well again when beaten only a length off today's mark having won at Wolverhampton earlier and can also figure.
