In depth

Verdict

Maiden winner Victory Wave makes her handicap debut and the Godolphin filly has plenty of scope but Unforgiving Minute disappointed over 7f here last time having won a decent handicap at Lingfield before that. ISOMER (NAP) was also well beaten last month but in much better company than this at York and Andrew Balding’s charge had gone close at Newmarket before that when ahead of Glory Awaits. A similar effort today should see him bang there at the finish while Ghalib is another dropping back down in class and should be sharper for last month’s run at Goodwood.
