Verdict

A handicap that's every bit as tricky to unravel as it first appears. Hunters Lodge, Bounds And Leaps, Dusky Bob and Acrai Rua all arrive off the back of recent wins. The former has run well in two previous starts here and wears a visor for the first time today. There should be more to come from African Broadway while Qianshan Leader looked on the way back at Taunton. Extreme distances may well suit Abnaki but he didn't look very keen at Haydock last month. HANDY ANDY was third in that Haydock race having jumped well when winning at Newbury earlier. Colin Tizzard's charge does still have to prove he stays this far but looks in good form and shouldn't be far away if his stamina holds out. Imperial Circus and Top Dancer have been frustrating to follow but neither can be entirely ruled out in an open race.
