    Verdict

The tentative vote is given to Lincoln's Inn. The selection won well last time out when beating Oneforfun, enters handicaps off what remains a fair mark and under conditions that suit he looks the value bet. What A Scientist rates the main danger on his best form but all his best form is on a softer surface and he also looks vulnerable under top weight. Saratogane is another that could go well but she has yet to prove she stays this far and is passed over with this in mind. Ordre de Bataille is another last time out winner with place claims but all his best efforts have come on a softer surface. Of the remainder The King of Angels is from a shrewd in form yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we are happy to return to Lincoln's Inn.
