In depth

Verdict

Glingerbank, Warpath and Swift Sailor are the three to look at here and Gingerbank is the selection in a competitive affair. Despite a four month lay off, Swift Sailor was backed into favouritism at Fontwell last time, scoring in game fashion. That looked a good contest and the Pontefract Flat winner should not be overlooked off his low weight. Warpath has looked an improved performer this year with two good wins to his credit in novice contests. He is taking on more experienced rivals here though and he may have too much weight. Glingerbank has won two of his three starts to date, and has won those events at Perth with the minimum of fuss. he is one of those receiving weight from Warpath and he appears well treated. The yard is having a quiet spell but Glingerbank may turn out to be one of Nicky Richards' top performers top performers and is given the nod.
