These qualifiers are all about securing a place in next year's lucrative final but the two at the top of the weights, The Tourard Man and WHATAKNIGHT, both have a touch of class and shouldn't be far away. We'll side with Harry Fry's stayer, who shaped really well on his reappearance at Newton Abbot, when ahead of the race-fit Solatentif and Connetable, and has already been placed twice off higher marks this year. Thomas Campbell tries a new trip but has run well on both previous starts here. Johanos ended last season in fine form but is another stepping up in distance while Quarenta went up 6lb for winning at Warwick and that form hasn't worked out. The in-form Holly Bush Henry and Luccombe Down may prove the pick of the remainder.
