Verdict

NUZOOL fell out of the stalls on his debut in the Wood Ditton and never got competitive. This step up in trip is sure to suit on breeding, however, and John Dunlop's colt looks the one with most scope in this modest maiden. Brezza Di Mare finished ahead of Gold Mine at Newbury in October but was still well beaten while The Queen's filly Deceptive showed little in a couple of starts in the autumn, though is another who will appreciate the longer distance. The others are hard to fancy.
