Luca Cumani's Trueno seemed to appreciate the return to this trip when winning a similar contest at Newmarket last month and is taken to follow up here with Scottish River and Ski Jump rated the main dangers. Scottish River has a bit to find on official BHB ratings with one or two of these but is at least in form at present so cannot be discounted. A bigger threat is likely to come from Ski Jump, who won twice from four starts last term including on his reappearance, so lack of a recent run may not be a problem. Ile Michel has claims on his best but has not shown that since joining his present connections from the stable of Lady Herries, while Anglo Saxon has disappointed in two starts for David Loder this term. Similar comments apply to Richard Hannon's Top Spec and of more interest may be Dance World, provided that he can handle the faster surface today. Trueno holds solid claims on the form shown at Newmarket last time though and is difficult to oppose.
