The in-form Bidable has obvious claims in a trappy finale but favourites have only managed to win two of the last nine renewals and it may pay to look elsewhere. Bere Davis and Croeso Ynol are considered but the suggestion is the experienced campaigner ERMINE GREY. With two wins from her last three starts, Bidable is about the only runner in this field coming into the race in top form but she's on a career high mark as a result so will need to improve again even allowing for the level of opposition. Croeso Ynol ran no race on her return despite being nibbled at in the market on debut for this yard and it will be interesting to see if her supporters come back for more whilst Bere Davis is so well handicapped these days that it would be no surprise to see him take advantage sooner rather than later. However, Ermine Grey has also slipped to a workable perch and the experienced campaigner is fancied to take the honours under Louise Allan at a track he runs well.
