Verdict

Tea In Transvaal won on this card 12 months ago and represents last year's winning stable – he'll strip fitter for his fourth at Perth. Who Dares Wins is fit from the Flat but the tough Lil Rockerfeller faces a stiff task on his reappearance under top weight. Ballyoptic is unbeaten over hurdles and was completing a hat-trick with victory in the Grade 1 Sefton Hurdle at Aintree in April. He looks a real stayer, however, and may find a couple of these too quick over this shorter trip on faster going. The mare DEBDEBDEB recovered from a tired fall at Ascot in February to finish a good second in a Listed handicap over 2m4f at Cheltenham in April. She looks the type to go well fresh and could take some pegging back here off her feather weight. Braavos came up against a smart performer at Newton Abbot in May and could be the pick off the remainder, though Harry Cobden's claim will help Mr Mix.
