FINNEGAN PADDY has been knocking on the door and didn't do a lot wrong when just run out of it by Rudemeister over 3m2f at Catterick in January. He deserves a change of luck and, as that form was franked at Carlisle earlier this week, this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark. Great Gusto ran his best race so far when runner-up to Hawkes Point over C&D in January and appears to have the beating of fourth Tiger Maguire. He should be thereabouts but Rojo Vivo disappointed here in December and may struggle to confirm earlier running with the selection at this track over an extra half-mile. Former pointer In The Post is best watched on his debut under Rules and Power Man needs to improve on what he's shown so far.
