In depth

Verdict

Jollyhockeysticks was robbed last time at Hamilton and can get back the cash here; Tara's Garden could be the one to chase her home. The selection deserves her first win as she was demoted last time out. That was a good performance against a progressive individual in Deep Winter and she is fancied to break her duck today, with the ground not a problem. Bikini ran well on her reappearance at Windsor but hasn't progressed since and needs to improve, so a bigger danger may be Tara's Garden. She ran well over the course and distance two starts back and seems to handle soft ground ok. Welsh Opera needs to improve on his handicap debut at Windsor, but that was still a decent effort first time up this season and if she handles the ground then she won't be far away. The rest don't appear to be much cop and so we will return to Jollyhockeysticks as the selection.
