Verdict

Talent To Amuse has won three times over hurdles since last seen on the Flat but didn’t run again after falling here in October. Only a neck separated Arty Campbell and Gang Warfare at Ffos Las last month. The former is actually a pound better off but soft ground would not be ideal. FAITHFUL MOUNT has slipped down the ratings and will relish conditions. Ian Williams has booked the champion for his dual-purpose stayer, who is eased in grade today. Sky Marshal was in good form on Polytrack over the winter but has placed just once in five starts on Turf and Al Kout steps up in distance.
