    Verdict

Lighted Way, Cree, Lady Erica and Lucky Emerald are the principles here and the nomination is given to Cree. The selection is dropped to a more suitable 5 furlongs after running well over an extra furlong at Goodwood last time behind Cyclical. He is a consistent colt who looks up to winning this and it will be a surprise if he is not vying to get his head in front at the finish. Lighted Way ran well enough in a maiden at Bath last time behind Bahamian Magic to suggest that she can get competitive in this company. She has a mark of 64 and she will not be far away at the finish if she can reproduce her most recent effort here. Lady Erica showed plenty of speed on her debut and is sure to come for that run so is another to consider. Lucky Emerald was reported to have swallowed her tongue last time so her most recent run can be forgiven and she is another that could get competitive. However, Cree has been running consistently well and this colt from the Willie Muir yard looks to have been found a good opportunity to get his head in front.
