In depth

Verdict

It may be worth rowing in with one of the more experienced campaigners in SWEET IRONY. He took his time to strike his best form last term but was most impressive when scoring at Bangor and Warwick on his latest outings and this should to be the season when he develops into a useful sort. Current Event hacked up at Newbury, could be anything and must be on any shortlist despite disappointing when last seen. He should be all the better for a summer on his back. Bedouin Bay has fitness on his side and should give a prominent account but Fingal Bay is the dark horse to watch after a runaway success on his bumper debut on heavy ground at Exeter. It has to be interesting that Philip Hobbs starts him off over timber at this level.
