Verdict

SPIC 'N SPAN often pops up when least expected and he has plenty going for him in this. He won off today's mark on the Fibresand earlier in the year and his latest third over track and trip looks better now than it did at the time. Picc Of Burgau remains largely unexposed and his entitled to be thereabouts on his best form but Louie Vee may be best of the all-weather and Minty Jones has disappointed at Hamilton since scoring over track and trip after a break. First Rebellion and China Excels may be the pick of the remainder.
