Dark Ages is rarely beaten far and it was fast ground when he gained his only success over 5f at Nottingham a year ago. Ficelle won a seller on soft ground at Leicester and ran quite well in a Bath handicap last time so must be threat but it's NEW DECADE who gets the nod. His only success came over 7f on Fibresand at Southwell but he led for a long way in a handicap at Salisbury earlier this month, his first start since January, and this looks within his capabilities. Courtland King has dropped 13lb in the weights since last July after a poor run of form but Ocean Myth would have a chance if able to recapture the form that saw her finish runner-up in a handicap at Goodwood in August.
