In depth

Verdict

Avon Pearl and MOUSTACHE set the standard with preference for the latter. The Hannon youngster was heavily supported on his Newbury debut but ran green before landing the runner-up spot. He'll come on a ton for that and, dropping down a furlong, will probably set out to make all. Avon Pearl improved on an ordinary Leicester debut when backed into favouritism at Salisbury but failed to deal with another Hannon inmate in Harbour Watch. He looks nailed on for a maiden but the Hannon team hold such a good line to the form. Tango Sky hasn't been seen since showing debut promise behind Silverheels at Windsor in early April. His yard is in much better form of late, whilst Rock Of Monet rates an interesting newcomer.
