    Verdict

MISS SOPHISTICAT is marginally preferred to Indian Violet and Zouk. William Knight's yard have had a very good summer and while his daughter of Alhaarth has struggled to get her head infront, the application of cheekpieces seemed to have a positive effect and if the trick works twice, she will be a fair price to take this contest. Indian Violet has searched long and hard to find a winning opportunity. He may need to come down more than the 1lb that the handicapper has consented to. Zouk represents a yard that are gradually creeping back into form so the market has to be watched closely. Oriental Girl continues in the visor that accompanied her most recent start at Salisbury. Boo returns to the flat after a couple of inauspicious efforts over hurdles. Shared Moment never travelled at any stage at Windsor so could be worth another chance though it won't be with our money. Halcyon Princess put up her best effort for some time at Bath though that isn't saying a great deal. Flying Gazebo is first time out in a handicap. A moderate contest in which Miss Sophisticat is chanced in the hope that run number 13 is not unlucky for connections.
