      Verdict

      The Haggas team are firing on all cylinders and MABAANY has a golden opportunity to land a first victory. The colt showed plenty of promise for the future when third to Zumbi in a newcomers' race at Ascot and the winner franked the form by making the frame next time in a Group 3 at York. Charles Hills has done well since taking over from father Barry, who loved to have a winner on the Roodeye and Zammy, unplaced at huge prices in both starts so far, showed he's on the upgrade with a promising effort at Goodwood on his second outing. Chelsea Mick went close at Wolverhampton and should land a maiden at some stage but this is a major step up in class.
