Verdict

Spavento had an engagement at York yesterday but would be a leading contender here if allowed to take his chance. Kenyan Cat was only beaten a short-head when favourite at Lingfield last month while Very Well Red seems to see out this trip well enough nowadays and is in decent form. Madame Excelerate should be a better bet than stablemate Hathaway but only gets a pound from PRINCESS LEXI. Ian Williams' filly clearly found the company too hot off her new mark at Sandown last time but this looks less competitive and, unlike many of her rivals, she knows how to get her head in front where it matters.
