Verdict

MADAME VESTRIS has been raised 5lb for finishing third at Sandown last time but the handicapper may end up being proved right as the winner has since gone in again. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is having only her fourth start and should find enough to take care of last month's maiden winner Lemon Pearl. Kempton runner-up Halling's Treasure may prove a bigger danger making a quick reappearance after Wednesday's second at Kempton, but the older horses look pretty exposed with the likes of Wild Desert, Swinging Hawk and Tenhoo all well beaten since winning earlier in the year.
