Verdict

WAR GLORY returned from a lay-off to win on his handicap debut at Chelmsford. Having his first start on Turf today, the Hannon colt is preferred to Viscount Barfield. The latter finished well ahead of Bell Heather when winning over track and trip on his penultimate start but is 9lb higher today while Worlds His Oyster has been raised 2lb after finding only Sunnua, due to run in the previous race, too good here on his latest start. Rock Warbler goes handicapping for the first time today with an apprentice’s 7lb allowance helping his cause.
