Verdict

Cadmium Loch has won two of his last three starts but has been done no favours by the draw here. Duquesa, second at Salisbury over this trip before finishing fourth over further at Windsor, is also berthed wide. Crucis Abbey and Hoppy's Flyer are still maidens while Ventura Sands has struggled since scoring at Musselburgh in April. That suggests COAX should take all the beating here if he reproduces the form of his close second to Regimental at Musselburgh last week. Wolf Slayer is better than he's shown so far this year and may be best of the rest.
