Verdict

After a promising introduction at Newmarket, DICK DOUGHTYWYLIE failed to land the odds at Goodwood last month. He was only beaten a head, however, and is taken to make amends here. Fruehling also finished runner-up at Goodwood last time and makes more appeal than Postscript, who is stepping up in trip after an absence of over a year. Musical Flight hasn't raced since well beaten on his reappearance in April so the 300,000 dollar yearling Medal Of Valour is of more interest on his belated debut.
