In depth

Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer MONBEG CHIT CHAT looks the one to be on here. Henry De Bromhead's charge has gradually improved over hurdles and though having no answer when the long odds-on Chambord Du Lys quickened past over this track and trip last month he had the remainder a long way behind and should have little difficulty going one better. Give Battle has shown the occasional sign of ability and will be better for last month's reappearance at Thurles while Bold Frost made a successful debut between the flags at Curraghmore though that was almost two years ago.
