In depth

Verdict

Molko Jack gained a surprise though very easy victory on heavy ground here but whether he can repeat that run with a 10lb rise is debatable as that was his first success in 13 starts. Third-placed SPRING WINE, who was having his first start for nine months and was in touch for a long way, can take his revenge on the revised terms and looks nicely weighted. Garamor Boy was having his 32nd run over timber when finally getting off the mark at Downpatrick but appears better over further and has gone up 5lb. The veteran Buck Breeze generally runs well around here but hasn't won a race since 2006 while the youngster Rusty Halo is making his handicap debut and has shown only moderate form. Banna Beach has a very long absence to overcome and though that hasn't been a problem in the past he's on a much higher mark this time.
