In depth

Verdict

Gordon Elliott is having his first runners for a fortnight and Percy, a Downpatrick maiden winner in March, will find this less daunting than last month's Grade 2 at Fairyhouse where he finished last. Force Of Forces made all for an easy victory on that latter track in February though has been in poor form subsequently but Limerick winner The Granson found 2m3f stretching his stamina at Kilbeggan. VISIOMAN (NAP) showed very little in maidens but attracted support on his handicap debut at Kilbeggan last month and only just failed to concede 21lb to the in-form Callthebarman. Henry De Bromhead's charge looks certain to make further progress and can go one better. R'evelyn Pleasure looked one to follow after an easy victory on this track but failed to fire on his handicap debut at Ballinrobe.
