Verdict

VANISHING POINT, a winner on the Flat for Andrew Balding, couldn't get to Ornua at Down Royal earlier in the month but the winner looks very useful which he may emphasise in tonight's second race. Gordon Elliott's charge shouldn't face anything of that winner's class here as though Conna Cross has some decent form, he's 0-10 and has never run on anything but ground with plenty of give. Aherlow showed up well for a long way on his debut over slightly further at Fairyhouse last month and looks certain to make good progress so could snatch a place.
