Verdict

This hasn't been a great race for favourite backers in recent years but Michael Hourigan would be disappointed if AERLITE SUPREME cannot build upon his debut at Galway where he looked to be something of an unlucky loser having found his path blocked at a vital stage. Treacy Hotels Boy should have stripped fitter from a recent run in a point-to-point at Ballinaboola though he may turn out to be better over further. Bell Weir has more of a Flat pedigree than most, and the son of Tobougg cannot be ruled out having put up a decent effort in defeat at Clonmel. Curvacious was third to Hidden Universe at Limerick a couple of seasons ago and though this is probably the best form in the race, she has clearly had training issues in the interim.
