In depth

Verdict

Still Point, who made his belated debut over 1m2f at the Curragh in September, finished runner-up over 6f on his return at Navan so this could be his optimum trip. Irish Review showed some promise at the Curragh but Allied Answer produced an eye-catching performance when staying on late behind stablemate Giant Step here last month and looks the type to do much better. ESTITHMAAR looked a certain future winner when just touched off by the more experienced Swampfire at Limerick and with that under his belt can go one better. The beautifully-bred Great Huzzar started favourite on his one run at the Curragh a year ago so is obviously well regarded and should be kept on the right side.
