Verdict

A disappointing finale with a moderate turnout but SUPER SAY may be good enough if able to repeat his opening effort at the Curragh when an excellent third behind subsequent winner Bright Horizon. Andrew Oliver's charge was a major disappointment when a hot favourite at Ballinrobe a week later but should be given a chance to recoup losses. Prayer Boat has had numerous opportunities to lose his maiden tag but continues to decline them. He has finished a close second on three occasions and finds little at the business end. Silas Mariner raced in distinguished company on all three starts last season and was never disgraced but has a long absence to overcome as has Radnimaz, who showed promise on his only start on Polytrack at Dundalk in November when he would have been even closer but for being impeded at a crucial stage.
